We are pleased to announce that Team ROC Gear/4LPH4 1337 and 4LPH4 1337 Adventures, LLC will be returning to produce the Atomic Adventure Race presented by Fuji Bikes in 2011! Here is the overview of what the race will entail:

Additionally, the top 5 teams in the elite category will be entered into a raffle for a grand prize (in 2010, it was a Fuji Bikes carbon Mt. Fuji mountain bike frame).
Other Divisions: Team member prizes will be picked in order of division/place (see Rules:Team Rankings for eligibility).

In 2010, it was:
- 40-60 miles biking on roads, gravel, and single track.
- 15-30 miles paddling on moving and flat water.
- 15-30 miles trekking on roads, gravel, single track, and in mountain forests.

The competitors will hike, bike, and paddle using map and compass through a course fraught with challenges that will test their athletic and mental prowess. Strategy, teamwork, and willpower will be tested as teams race to see who crosses the finish line first.
* Late registration likely means some schwag items, such as performance race shirt, will not be available for racers. This is because the lead time required to order said items. |

The race will begin on May 14th, 2011 and finish the following day. Here's the basic schedule:
Friday, May 13th 5:00pm - 9:00pm: Race Check-In 9:00pm - 9:45pm: Team Meeting
Saturday, May 14th
5:00am bike drop open 7:00am - 7:15: Pre-Race Briefing 7:30ish: Race Start
Sunday, May 15th 1pm: Race Cutoff Awards Ceremony, Gear Drawing, Post-Race Meal |
