Hey guys, the initial rankings are in. As mentioned at the race, we are getting the results to you guys ASAP, and guarantee no later than 05/25. At a later point, we will do a full spreadsheet of results with breakdowns on each leg of the race based on logbooks and such. We'll use all the data we have here.

Here's info on how to read the leaderboard for ranking purposes.

1. Click on your team in column 1.  If a finishing team, you'll see your finish time as Last CP Departure.  You'll also see Time Penalties, which includes the ROC Gear Stage adjustment and a 4 hour penalty for each Optional CP skipped.  The sum of these is your adjusted finishing time, from which the ranking comes.  The time reported for the finish (F) in the far right column is the same as the Last CP Departure.  Thus, some teams with lots of penalties but who finished earlier will be ranked behind later finishing teams with less penalties.
   
2. At each checkpoint, there will be a green D, green check mark, or red X.  For D's, that is a checkpoint that we entered a time on (from volunteer sheets or log books).  For check mark, we used the passport/bracelets for confirmation but did not have a time.  For red X, this is a skipped checkpoint and will receive a penalty (click to expand and see details).
   
3. For those checkpoints that do not have anything on them, there are two reasons:
   
   • it was the freebie checkpoint from the Bull Mountain section during the ROC Gear Stage, where teams only had to get 4 out of 5.  We left these blank to differentiate between those that teams were penalized for skipping (got less than 4 out of 5) and those that got 4 out of 5.
   • the team changed status to incomplete or withdrawn.  to see where they changed status, click on the team name and look across the checkpoints.  you should see an icon representing where.
4. We do have times for all the checkpoints based on logbooks, but used the check marks here to expedite results.  These times will be included in full results later.
5. Anything else, shoot me an email.

So these are the 1st draft rankings. They will change in two ways:

• Disputes. If you have a dispute, contact us, and we'll handle it ASAP.
  
• Missing Passports. If you are one of the teams from whom we have not received a passport (Mims the Word, for example), please contact us, so we can talk about it. We will need either a passport punch, logbook signature, or a TA signin/signout to receive credit for a checkpoint.  If you didn't sign your logbooks, this is where it will hurt, because you won't receive credit for the CP.
