So last weekend we spent training, building CPs, logbooks, and the start-finish structure for the Atomic Adventure Race presented by Fuji Bikes.  It is amazing how much time this took.  We had 8 people working on stuff for 5-6 hours!  We promptly followed up all the sweat with a Rock Band Party and ribs.

In building this years CP markers, we will be including logbooks for safety purposes and so that we may have more in-depth post-race analysis after the race results are posted and CPs collected.  Think leg splits, sectional rankings, etc.  That's me writing lines just like in elementary school with the two most important women in my life helping out as well.

And did I mention the logbooks are water-resistant.  Laura dunked them several times in the 300-gallon saltwater aquarium.  Just kidding, but they should be able to keep dry in case of rain.  While we were "crafting", the real men were outside, building the Start/Finish structure.

Of course, you'll have to wait until race day to see it in its finished glory.
