Okay, so a follow up on the canoe outfitter saga.  Many of you guys were asking about canoe rentals as of late, and rightfully so.  I asked all of you to hold off because we may have an official outfitting partner with cost savings and conveniences included.

On the backend, I was attempting to negotiate a deal with one of the many outfitters in the area whereby you guys would not have to pick up and transport your rental boats (it would be delivered and picked up for you).  Unfortunately, due to the time of year and location, we could not come to terms.  Rather than attempting a third outfitter, I am choosing to put out the full list and encourage you to pursue your own rentals for which you will be responsible.

I'm sorry for my inability to get this piece of the event to work out in the best way possible for everybody, but I could not ask you guys to wait in limbo any longer as the race will soon be upon us and May is the up season for outfitters.
