Well, we've been staging some of the more remote CPs (yeah, you folks that have been scouting--no chance of finding them when we stage week of the race.  Suckas!).

Here's my story.  I went to place a CP and was driving in my off-road minivan through some gnarly dirt road with a bunch of rocks and puddles, and I go off road a bit to avoid a particularly deep puddle and whammo!  Hit a hidden stump, blow out my tire.  So I'm in a rush and in the mud and have to change the tire and place the CP, which is 2 miles away.  I also realized that my cell phone is almost out of juice, so I call my pregnant wife (ready to go into labor any minute now) and tell her of my predicament and "if I'm not there by 7pm, send Jack out to find me".

Jack the car up as the jack sinks about 3 inches into the mud, change the tire, run to place the CP.  Come back down, and the spare is flat.  So what do I do?

Bust out my Joe Blow bicycle pump that I got at Reality Bikes and pump that sucker up.  My abs are rock hard.

And a parting shot from Jordan's CP placement:
