As of today, my wife has been pregnant with our fourth child for 37 weeks and 3 days.  Yep, our first full term pregnancy.  It's been long joked that our new baby girl, Chance, will be delivered on this weekend.  Considering our previous terms of 36 weeks and two at 33 weeks, I didn't give much credence to this.

Until about two weeks ago, when it seemed more like a possibility.  So at this year's race, we started planning around the additional challenges created by my not being there.  The Race Management team (my teammates on Team ROC Gear/4LPH4 1337) have stepped up in huge ways to duplicate my role.  Jack and I (co-race directors last year and this year) have shared as much as possible the responsibilities of Race Director, while preserving the same roles as last year.

As of today, my wife is showing additional signs of early labor.  We will see when Chance comes, but in the event I am unable to attend the race, say hello to my team and thank them for their continuing efforts to grow the sport in innovative ways.
